Barclays have announced their 2017 Encore Returner Programme and here’s what they have to say about it:

If you’re thinking of returning to work, we’ve got everything ready for you.
We’re ready to launch Encore – a 12 week programme in which you’ll work on a live, project, matched to your capabilities, experience and talent, with the opportunity for it to then become a permanent position. We’re ready to help you choose from a wide range of business areas – from Digital to Wealth to Mortgages and to give you coaching and a dedicated sponsor who’ll open doors, open networks and support you every step of the way.
We’re ready to welcome back talented, experienced professionals like you, who have been out of the work place for at least two years. People who are great communicators, collaborators and influencers, who have built strong stakeholder relationships in previous professional/managerial roles. You should share our passion for continuous improvement, with a focus on innovation and the ability to engage and enthuse people at all levels.
Our three month programme, located in our Canary Wharf head office, starts in October (with five days holiday available to take at any point). We’re keen to meet people who would consider a career with Barclays at the end of the programme so it’s important that we create real opportunities to connect and get to know one another during the application period. To support this we’re hosting a networking day on Monday 11th September in London where you can meet business leaders and colleagues, ask questions and learn more about our business, our goals and our culture.
